Schedule home events

With the DomoGears system it is possible to simulate pressing buttons on virtual devices. This allows events to be sent whether they are simple commands or pre-configured scenarios. It is possible to create events at a minimum distance of 1 second by selecting the days of the week in which the event will be performed. This can be very useful to set the day and night modes of light or to switch devices on and off according to specific times.

The sensor monitor

On DomoGears microPCs (small and Big version) it is possible to install humidity and temperature sensors to be placed in different areas of the house. In home automation this is usually done by passing the BUS cables which are then connected to the supervision system. In the DomoGears system the sensor data all pass through the home wireless network and the DomoGears system displays the values for each sensor. The DomoGears system can create logics of switching on and off in relation to the state of the sensors. So for example it can turn on Fancoils based on temperature and presence. Interface for configuring new sensors

Program cascading events

Interfacing card relay software for surveillance, light management, energy saving.

The software can also process images from a camera, send MAIL, and is equipped with a motion sensor and receive commands from the DomoGears system. The controls can be: Switching on lights, Night mode, Alarm mode and Mail delivery, Lighting lights on motion detection. This software combined with the relay card represents an example of a UDP device that can be configured from the device management interface on the DomoGears system.

Low Cost Logic Wireless (and/or Ethernet) Module for DomoGears supervisor

With the operating system put in place by DomoGears, it is easy to create logic modules for Input and Output with the computer's capabilities. It is also easy to use the GPIOs of the system to acquire data from sensors of various nature such as presence, but also gas and fire. In the example a small module with two relays configured within the DomoGears system. The module is configured by associating it via a configuration page to a Wireless network and assigning the module a network name. DomoGears transforms a traditional system into a home automation system
